Alt tune stock vs upgrades

It looks like there are alt. tunings that are on the stock software that you loose when you upgrade unless you buy the most expensive upgrade. Am I missing something or do the upgrades take away things like double drop d open g and others? Do the stock alt tunings still work with the multistring settings or are they lost?

The stock software in the AT-200 does not come with any alternate tunings.  Yes, you can "trick" the guitar into alternate tunings by fretting certain notes and then doing a String Tune.  This is still possible in any Software Feature Pack.  As you can see on the following page, you don't loose any features by upgrading should you start with the Essential Pack and work your way up:
