I guess this hello and goodbye. Bummer. I waited years to buy this because I wasn't sold on the sound quality in the demos. The lap steel videos convinced me that the ATG would be great for my fretless guitar. So I bought it recently, and quickly determined that I like it better than my BOSS GP-10. I dropped my GP-10 off at the post office wishing her the best of luck with her new owner, and before I could get home the End-of-life emailed appeared in my inbox. Yup, I'm disappointed too.  Well that's my story, friends.

Your ATG-1 should work fine for many years to come.

Indeed it certainly appears to be built well. Like others on the forum, I'll keep my fingers crossed that the technology will be used in some future product or sold and further developed by another company.
