What the subject line says. Thanks to our friends at Confusionists, MIDI Designer Pro v.1.5, which was released yesterday, now includes the Auto-Tune for Guitar layout built-in to the app.

To load the layout:

- Touch the "more" button
- Select "Config"
- In the Config window, select Actions and then "Load a Layout"
- Select the "Auto-Tune Guitar (built-in)" layout

Voilà!

I have a question,
Does it have to do something special for my guitar either recognized in Midi Designer?

In order for MIDI Designer PRO to be able to control your AT-200 guitar, you do need to own one of the Software Feature Packs, which in turn needs to be loaded onto your guitar.  The stock software does not offer MIDI capabilities that are controllable via MIDI Designer PRO. The Software Feature Packs can be purchased here:

In order to connect your iPad to your AT-200 Guitar you do need the either the Apple Camera kit and an approved MIDI interface OR a MIDI Interface that connects directly to your iPad's 30 pin connector.  Here are a few links that should help you:

If the Midi Designer Pro is written for the iPad, why do we have to use a dammed windows machine to contact to the guitar for downloads. Doesn't make sense! Why no Mac application software?

Why no Windows app to control the feature packs?  If a Windows machine is used to download software, why do we have to use a damned iPad to control the feature packs?

You are no longer stuck to just one control software and IPad. Another user on this forum created this Windows based controller. http://autotuneforgu...ftware-windows/
