I was thinking of getting a Rollerbender WWW.rollerbender.com For the at-200.
But i think i read somewhere that the piezo pickups are made into the saddles of the At-200.
Does anyone know if saddles can be removed and replaced?

Hey Jimmyward,

Yes, the piezos are built into the saddles on the AT-200.  If you remove the stock saddles you will find a small (very sensitive) wire coming out of the bottom of the saddle.  This is the piezo wire which sends the signal to the DSP board.  If you remove this saddle and wire, no signal will of course be sent to the DSP.
If the Roller Bender saddles are available with piezo saddles, you may be able to switch these for the stock saddles.  The only difficulty you may run into would be a difference in output of the different piezos.  The signal from the new piezo may be either too loud or too weak.
One thing to be aware of is that you would most likely void the warranty if you replace the saddles on the AT-200.  Please refer to Peavey's warranty information.
