EG: Pbass to E and A strings only and Strat to all 6, or Pbass to E and A strings only and Strat to D, G, B, E only

The bass and guitar can be done by tuning at the 12th for wanted bass strings.I also read your request for stereo panned strings like roland midi guitar converters.I could be wrong, but I believe that would require another board/processor, if I'm not mistaken these are "pitch to algorithm" not  "pitch to midi".

Or for a more general solution, how about an extra midi channel option in Guitar Manager, that puts each string on a separate midi channel, eg 1 to 6.

This would allow different sounds, tuning, pitch bend parameters, etc. for each string!

Wouldn't that be awesome??
